Have you seen Paul Griffiths’ book “What Emotions Really Are”? He discusses the philosophy of scientific committment to realism with some interesting words on how to neutralize non-realist objections to it. He also talks about his ‘developmental systems psychology’ and its evolutionary underpinnings.
I’d be very interested in your reactions to it, although I am attempting to work through your podcasts systematically from the beginning and it may take some time to catch up!
