Conrad,

I appreciate your feedback, but I think the comparison to audiobooks is unfair. I suggest you look at the prices at http://learnoutloud.com/. Remember that my goal is to keep the podcast free for the majority of listeners.

I love the podcast. I am a big supporter and have turned many folks on to it. That being said I was shocked by the price of the premium version!!! I think if you sold it for a dollar people would buy it en masse, for 13.50 I would never buy it. I was very hopeful too. I think you have to remember that I can buy an audiobook(as you well know) for that price. Why would I pay so much for a podcast? I love the podcast so I say this as a MAJOR supporter: I was angered by the price. I found it outrageous!

According to Dr. Pankseep, The Feeling of What Happens was closer in spirit to his own work than Damasio's later book Looking for Spinoza. It would be interesting to interview Damasio. I intend to contact him right away when he publishes something new.

I was interested to hear of the differing opinions between Panksepp and Damasio. I thought the Damasio book 'the feeling of what happens' was brilliant, after the Pankseep interview I got the impression he felt Damasio was to 'somatocentric' . I would love you to get Damasio on to speak to see what his position is now.
Thanks for the wonderful podcasts.
