The new Brain Science Podcast application is now available in the iTunes Store. You will need an iPhone or an iPod Touch to use the application but it does offer several useful features:

  • Listen to any episode without downloading it via iTunes*
  • Read episode trancripts right on your iPhone or Touch
  • One click links to the website, email, and the new phone-in line at 206-984-0358?.
  • Background play*

? In January 2010 the voicemail line was disconnected.

*Note: Streaming audio works best with a WiFi connection.

October 2009:

Join our new Facebook Fan Page: FacebookFanBSP As of 10/9/09, it has almost 1000 members, so it is quickly surpassing the Discussion Forum as the best place to find other fans.

June 2009: Transcripts are now available for episodes 1-58.

Spring 2009:

In mid-April the Brain Science Podcast passed 1 million downloads! Thank you to everyone for your on-going support.

The Brain Science Podcast also received the semi-annual Community Service Award in Mental Health from The Practical Psychiatrist website. Previous winners include: National Alliance of Mental Illness, a national consumer/family mental health advocacy group, and the Visionary Guild, a project of the Consumer Relations Office of the Alabama State Department of Mental Health which encourages people with mental illness to cultivate their artistic talents and to display their efforts publicly.
